The men of the 109th platoon and the 82nd platoon entered a small building in midday, in St. Lo, France, to find inside a Marine Lieutenant and a Naval Petty Officer First Class. Inside the two brief the men. The Lieutenant starts,
"Okay guys, here's what we got. We have intercepted a radio message that we believe says that the Covenant has recently captured Eidenburg Castle in Scotland. This is bad because with this heavily defended castle as their fallback position, the Covenant can afford to lose a major battle anywhere in the currently much disputed over UK. Tonight, the Helljumpers, led by First Sergeant Trenal, will jump in 20 minutes before the Marines arrive and assault the base directly. At that point the Helljumpers should have taken the base and the Marines will provide reinforcements for any counterattacks. The marines will be led by Sergeant Minous, due to the Major's absence. Now I will hand it over to Petty Officer Falon."
The Naval officer nods.
"Thank you, Lieutenant. Now, your mission is considered high priority. This means you get air support. We will have 3 pelicans watching you in addition to the Troop Transport pelican for the Marines and the Special Ops pelican for the Helljumps. I will be in the lead pelican.
There is an observation tower near the castle that could be of some use for a sniper. We are supplying you with one fully automatic mounted machine gun. Good luck and godspeed."
The men saluted and went to their stations. The Pelicans picked up as soon as possible.
((OOC: Everybody respond in your pelicans and then we can start this thing.))
